All my music is written and produced in Magnolia Hill Studio, which lives in my basement. We started with an unfinished basement and built it out as a music studio.
This one room studio was built to be structurally soundproofed and acoustically treated as both a live room and production studio. .
The centerpiece of the studio is an Apollo x8P interface with a UAD-2 Satellite and Apple Logic Pro X.
The Apollo is sometimes paired with an analog Trident dual mic preamp depending on what is being recorded. This is always a tough call as the Apollo Unison pre-amps and plug-in emulations are top notch!
