Frank Oelschlager

I'm a Partner and Managing Director at Ten Mile Square Technologies (opens in a new tab), a Northern Virginia firm of senior technologists. I lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives for mid-market companies, and I step in as a fractional CTO when a company needs executive technology leadership without a full-time hire. Much of that work now centers on AI: helping leadership teams assess where they stand and adopt it with guardrails.

My music roots reach back to childhood. I write songs and play guitars, keys, and vocals, somewhere between modern rock and prog. My 2024 EP, Good For The Soul, is about resilience and becoming stronger through adversity. I also lead the band Microplastic Brain and record at Magnolia Hill Studio.

Kayaking, hiking, exploring, music, emerging science, and a steady stack of books.
