This song is a bit of a coming of age, figuring out life song, or something like that.
It was recorded mostly live in the studio with my friends Chuck Bowley and Patrick Nolan. I did go back and add some more vocal work and a bit of light production stuff (for example the bridge effects) but all in all this track is pretty close to the live acoustic performance.
I hope you enjoy it!

Lyrics
When I was a young boy
I thought I knew my way
But as I live this life of mine
I know less every day
You tell me to have a plan
So that I succeed
But you don’t tell me anywhere
what that success means
I’m left to find out for myself
what’s there is of me
From counting of all the likes
on my Internet memes
Bye bye baby
I’m off to find my dreams
Don’t cry baby
I’ll be back for you someday
I can remember when
I could float and fly
I could move a pencil
With the power of my mind
You tell me that I dreamed it
That I never flew
You laugh at my insistence
And say it isn’t true
Maybe I dreamed it
But that’s how I know
And I lived another life
A long long time ago
Bye bye baby
I’m off to find my dreams
Don’t cry baby
I’ll be back for you one day
Memories of Cesar’s palace
And Roman gods of old
Haunt me in my dreams and stir my everlasting soul
Sounds of symphonies
Never writ nor played
Fill my ears with music and soothe my everlasting soul
Bye bye baby
I’m off to find my dreams
Don’t cry baby
I’ll come back for you someday
Bye bye baby
I’m off to find my dreams
Bye bye baby
I’ll come back for you someday
